Independence Day

The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great national spirit and fervor at Military College Murree. The ceremony began with a recitation of holy verses from the Quran, followed by a brief documentary about the creation of Pakistan. During the ceremony, the cadets delivered speeches, sang national songs, and performed cultural dances, skits and tableaus.

In his address to the audience, Commandant MCM, Brigadier Naseem Abbas, emphasized the importance of being responsible citizens of this sacred country. He stated that we must work diligently for the prosperity of our nation and reminded everyone of the sacrifices our forefathers made to create this country. He further expressed that celebrating this day rejuvenates our souls with a new wave of patriotism. After the address, the audience stood in honor of the national anthem. The ceremony concluded with a dinner in the respective cadet messes.
