Military College Murree organizes enlightening sessions for cadets grooming and personality development. On April 29, college hosted a seminar on personality grooming as part of its “Personality Grooming Program” (PGP). The talk, which sought to improve the cadets’ personal growth, was a spectacular success. The guest speaker enthralled the audience with his insightful commentary and captivating delivery. His skills in personality development definitely had an influence on everyone in attendance. Following the talk, there was an incisive question and answer session. At the end of the talk, Commandant MCM, Brigadier Naseem Abbas expressed his sincere gratitude to the distinguished speaker for his insightful knowledge and presented him a souvenir as a token of appreciation.
Mr. Mirza Ali
Military College Murree believes to prepare cadets academically sound and mentally strong. In the pursual of this aim, Mr. Mirza Ali, who currently holds the office of Director Research and Academics in Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), was invited to deliver a talk concerning recently implemented Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s) based examinations to clarify queries about paper setting and marks distribution. The talk, delivered by the guest speaker, was highly effective. The speaker’s advice on exam preparation, stress management, mental and physical well-being will help cadets to perform better during the exams. The speaker’s words of motivation and encouragement also served as a reminder to the cadets that they have the potential to achieve great success if they stay committed and focused on their goals.
Major General Samrez Salik (Retd), HI (M)
To ensure that cadets live up to its motto- character, courage, and commitment, MCM focuses a major emphasis on personality development. The training process at MCM frequently includes interactive and inspirational sessions which impart motivational and educational values. Major General Samrez Salik (Retd), HI (M) delivered a motivational talk on the subject “How to make the most of Life” to the faculty and cadets. The session was really insightful and inspiring for cadets. After the speech, the general officer answered the queries of the cadets.
Colonel Ahmad Latif Qureshi
Col Ahmad Latif was invited to MCM to inspire cadets to join Military College of Signals after completion of studies in MCM. The guest speaker began his talk by sharing his own experiences in military, narrating the challenges faced and lessons learnt. He spoke about the importance of dedication, hard work, and perseverance in military and how these values are essential for success in any field of life. He mentioned few aspects regarding life as signal officers. His words of wisdom and encouragement will undoubtedly stay with cadet throughout their military careers, as they work to uphold values and traditions of the Armed Forces.
Lieutenant Colonel Atta Ullah Aziz
Military College Murree leaves no stone unturned to polish and groom its cadets in the best possible manner. Cadets need to focus on both, mental and physical health to perform better. In this regard, an interactive session on motivation and physical health was organized with Lieutenant Colonel Atta Ullah Aziz. The speaker shared valuable guidance on mental and physical health of cadets. He also shared practical advises on how to prepare for the selection process, such as developing a regular exercise routine, brushing up on general knowledge, and practicing communication skills.
Professor Dr Anis Ahmed

Famous Educationist Professor Dr Anis Ahmed visited MCM and dilivered a lecture on the topic “The Quaid’s Vision of Pakistan” . Following the talk, there was an incisive question and answer session. At the end of the talk, Commandant MCM, Brigadier Naseem Abbas expressed his sincere gratitude to the distinguished speaker for his insightful knowledge and presented him a souvenir as a token of appreciation.
Professor Dr. Asghar Zaidi
Professor Dr. Asghar Zaidi, Vice Chancellor Government College University Lahore, arrived as a guest speaker at MCM. He delivered talk on “Empowering our Youth for Tomorrow’s Leadership: Learning from Allama Iqbal”. Instructors and cadets both benefitted from the session. The session resulted in leaving the audience mesmerized. As the talk came to a close, the cadets gave standing ovation to guest speaker. Commandant Military College Murree thanked the worthy guest speaker for his awe-inspiring lecture and the knowledge imparted to all.
Dr. Anila Kamal
MCM had the privilege of hosting an excellent lecture on the topic of “Bullying and its Effects on Victims” by the esteemed Professor Dr. Anila Kamal, Vice Chairman of Rawalpindi Women University.
The lecture proved to be truly enlightening as the speaker shared invaluable insights into the various dimensions of bullying and its profound impact on individuals. Her expertise and deep understanding of the subject matter shone through, capturing the attention of all in attendance. Following the lecture, an engaging Q&A session took place, where the Professor effortlessly tackled every question posed by the eager cadets.
In the concluding remarks, Comdt MCM, Brig Naseem Abbas expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Anila Kamal for her exceptional lecture and the valuable knowledge she imparted. As a token of appreciation, a souvenir from the college was presented to her.
